The end all be all for critters like mole mice etc is chewing gum! Juicy fruit is the best they love that. They eat it and are not able to digest which in turn kills them. I found several and it has been several years and have never had a problem since!

Thank you! I've procrastinated on admitting I don't know my soil and I just say it's crap when anyone asks, lol. I wasn't sure exactly how ide go about it, I thought ide need to test like the ph or like checking it sorta like my compost and balancing it out sorta thing, I have no clue. Ive been gardening forever so its something i honestly should have known how to do long time ago...but im acually trying to grow grass right and needed to know what's up w my soil. Anyways, this was the most simple video I could find and follow, to help me really know what I'm working with here. And one more thing i've gotta put this out there but, you make me think of my family, like one of my sisters, totally our kinda peoples...you feel very wholesome and like, idk, comfy, lol, strange comment I know. I love your Mama style, your kiddos are adorable. Definitely checking your channel to see what your all about.

The windmill is a humane approach. The trap is horrendous. My question is when are we going to learn to share the planet. People are killing these little creatures so unnecessarily. The moles are just living their little lives. By digging up the earth, moles help make the soil healthier by aerating it. This allows more types of plants to grow, which in turn feed more insects. Not only this, their tunnels improve soil drainage, which helps stop flooding and huge puddles forming on the ground. Moles truly are the unsung heroes of the animal world!

Yesterday I discovered the hole took a picture of it to try to do a Google lens search. It stated something in regards to squirrels etc. And we've been working in our yard. We put down some weed barrier and mulch yesterday evening and last night and my husband went outside this morning and guess what whatever it is came back. I put some bleach about 4 inches around the hole yesterday. If there were babies inside I didn't want to kill them. This morning my neighbor told me that it could be a mole le and her father had an issue with moles digging up his yard. I've never heard of such animals but they look like rats and mice to me. I don't do well with critters!!!!!!

It’s so defeating knowing the pest pressure isn’t near its height. 😔 I’m just transitioning over to summer crops, and I’m getting clobbered!! 😮 I know I’m not alone, but I have never experienced the pest pressure at this level already. I would have loved to see just plain compost mixed in, but I'm very new to gardening, and I may not know what I'm talking about lol. I just moved to Colorado, and the soil here is heavy clay and hard as concrete. Our landscaper planted our plants directly in it without amendments, and my plants are suffering. I will be adding manure!

Have you read "Grow a Little Fruit Tree", by Ann Ralph? If not, you should, she teaches how to keep a tree that should grow to a mature height of 40 feet small enough to manage. It would greatly help you with those small trees you have in the garden that are too big to transplant, but you don't want to get too large in your actually gardening space. It's very interesting and informative. I think you would like it.

Question Would you test my Asian design Garden Hoe.? Mine mounted on a long Garden Hoe handle and destroy weeds and digs into my claybase sun dried baked soil much better than the European style Garden Hoe. I'm thinking mailing the handle might be costly so can you get someone to mount it it can easily replace the basic Garden Hoe and less problems to ship

My wife and me didn't have great cooks in our family so we trying to Question please. I built myself a Asian design Garden Hoe I can mail the steel part easily tell me you can get someone to put it onto a long garden hoe handle beiirve as myself you will find it's better than the basic European style Garden Hoe . Maybe a manufacturer would want to build them they certainly cutting into my claybase soil s digs weeds out with less effort.. overcome our childhood lack of experience I'm raising a winter squash said to taste better and store better than pumpkin.s. Off hand can't recall it's name probably better than the canned pumpkin I made cookies with last fall. But my cookies was better than the Kroger " homemade" as they call their produce. Wish I say this before ordering my seeds.Ive gotten several of your recommendation seeds like Bolt and Midnight Snack and Candy Land Red they are on my repeating list again and will probably be some seeds that I'll stick with.thanks
